Let’s be real: packing for a spa day can feel more stressful than it should. I can’t count how many times I’ve thought “Ugh, why didn’t I bring this?!”
But don’t worry, beautiful. I’ve got you covered with a curated, fashion-forward checklist to keep you chic, comfy, and fully prepped for the most relaxing day ever.
First thing First: Locker Hack
When you ask for a locker, mention whether you’d prefer a higher or lower one. If you’re petite, reaching for a high locker can be a pain, and vice versa. It’s a small tip that makes a big difference when you need something in your locker.
👙 WHAT TO WEAR
Bathing suit
Even though most spas sell swimwear, bring one you love. You don’t want to be stuck buying an overpriced bathing suit that doesn’t flatter or fit.
Chic cover up
Go for something you’d be proud to wear to the spa restaurant. Think sheer textures, breezy knits, floaty fabrics, or an effortless, loose jumpsuit. I also like a white buttoned up shirt (like the photo below). Bonus points for something easy to slip on over damp skin. You can also go for a short and buttoned up cute set like this one which is airy, cloud-feel.
Stylish Slides or Flip Flops
Bring your cutest comfy slides, but maybe leave the high-luxury designer pair at home in case they get lost.
These Michael Kors ones are the perfect compromise for a stylish comfy look.
Winter tuque or cap
If you're heading to a Nordic spa or outdoor baths in winter, a cozy tuque is non-negotiable. Keep that beautiful head warm!
🧴 ACCESSORIES & ESSENTIALS
Water bottle
Choose one with a cap... This one is my go-to. Trust me, you don’t want to taste chlorine on the mouthpiece. Avoid glass for safety.
Sunglasses
Perfect for outdoor thermal spas or sun-soaked lounging areas. Protect your eyes and look effortlessly glam while you do. Here are some of my favs.
Hair Elastics/Scrunchies
Hair elastics are useful if you would prefer not wetting your hair. You can use a hair scrunchie to be extra stylish.
Bandana
Tie it to your robe for easy identification. Trust me, all spa robes look alike in a sea of white terry cloth.
📚 ENTERTAINMENT (SPA STYLE)
Magazine, Book or Tablet
Spa days often include quiet moments, perfect for reading. Bring a paperback, a glossy mag, or your tablet if digital is more your thing. My spa-day favorites? The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer and Hidden Potential by Adam Grant.
Headphones
If phones are allowed, bring your headphones to enjoy music or a calming podcast.
💆♀️ AFTER-SPA ESSENTIALS
Personal body care products
Deodorant, perfume, hydrating lotion, whatever makes you feel fresh and fabulous for after the spa. I always bring my Maison Jacynthe Body illuminator veil for a nice glow after the spa.
Soap, shampoo and conditioner
Most spas provide these, but if you have products you know and love (especially if your hair or skin is sensitive), bring your own to feel your best.
Makeup bag
Just the essentials to refresh your glow, especially if you have plans after.
Hairbrush & iron
A quick style refresh can make all the difference after a spa day.
Plastic bag or waterproof bag
Perfect for storing your wet bathing suit or any damp items. Here is the one that I use.

Bring cash
Great for tipping your massage therapist (I normally give 15%) or treating yourself at the spa café.
Lock
Some spas provide them, but not all do, better safe than sorry.
What NOT to bring
- Jewelry: Can feel hot or uncomfortable in warm water and may get lost.
- Stress: This is your time to reset, relax, and radiate.
Pro Tip:
If you’re getting a massage, pop back to your locker before and grab:

The Fall/Winter fashion trends are my favourites every year... Something is happening in the fall, there is such a beautiful richness in the trends!
Let me remind you of something first, and I found the perfect quote to do it:

5 upcoming fashion trends for Fall/Winter 2024-2025 that I will talk to you about here are very present in stores and on the podium at fashion shows at the moment in preparation for fall (and seen during my trip to Milan in July 2024).
It is important to understand that trends are very influenced by the situation of the world and by celebrities for example… In order to predict what mood people will be in during the upcoming months.
That said, this doesn't mean that these trends match your style. And that's OK! Don't be fooled, whether you follow the trends fully or not, the important thing is to wear clothes that make you feel good and confident. 😉
We see more than ever in 2024:
- the disappearance of certain animals (animal protection),
– conflicts (the need for comfort),
– technology (robotics, artificial intelligence, etc.),
– the effects of diet on health (we are becoming more and more informed),
– films and TV series (we often want to look like our favorite celebrity), etc.
It is on these 5 themes that I was inspired to create this blog article.
5 Fall/Winter 2024-2025 fashion trends that you will see everywhere:
The leopard pattern
You will find it everywhere... On coats, pants, skirts, handbags,... The leopard pattern is making a comeback (even though it never really left!)
Why do you think leopard print will make a comeback this fall?
Better the things go, the more people care about animals and want to show their support for them. The disappearance of certain species is alarming and we are talking about it more and more, which makes it a key pattern for Autumn/Winter.
Tip: Do you want to go in small doses on the leopard pattern? Go with a hair bow!
The color red
Red color… The color synonymous with passion and sensuality.
”In the Middle Ages, red was a beloved color. For men, this color represents power and glory, worn in war and hunting, and for women, red represents beauty and love.” (Young, The Color of Fashion, Welbeck, 2022)
Now more than ever, we live in this fear of the unknown... Wars around the world affect the way we consume. On the other hand, love conquers it all because by feeling loved we can overcome difficult situations.
Tip: Go with a red that is part of your optimal color palette. So you feel like you're following the trend while bringing out your natural beauty!
The metallic
Living in 2024, we are bombarded with artificial intelligence platforms... Metallic gray representing the technological era. In addition, robotics is starting to become more and more common, which is influencing the way we consume.
Metallic gray will be very present in boots, handbags and pants this fall and winter. It started especially at the beginning of 2024 and will continue to surprise us towards the end. Fashion designers have managed to anticipate our curiosity about new technologies, hats off!
Tip: If you want to go small with the trend, go with metallic accessories or shoes!
Food Patterns
We have to tell ourselves… Topics such as “Blue Zones” (book, documentary series) or “Hack your gut” are very educational. We learn so much about our own food consumption habits that we even put it on our clothes.
This possibly influenced our fashion designers when they created their collections. Well done because the food patterns are very beautiful and inspire us to eat with our eyes first!
Tip: Go easy on the trend with accessories like avocado and hot pepper shaped earrings like these!!
The blazer and the full suit outfit
Blazers are more and more used in various outfits such as with a sports look, yoga, over a hoodie, etc.
The blazer makes us feel confident, in full possession of what we do... Which makes it an item worn a lot in TV shows such as "Emily in Paris" for example.
You can wear it with or without sleeves, plain or patterned, black or colorful… The blazer is here to stay! It is also practical for Fall/Winter because it adds a layer of warmth!
Tip: If you don't have a chance to wear the complete clean blazer and pants suit, go with shorts instead like the ones I'm wearing in the photo!

For me, the most important thing when shopping for clothes is to be very selective in my choices...
- Is this a piece that I will be able to arrange easily?
- Is the price reasonable for the design material?
- Does the piece of clothing suit me well?

This is why I manage to spend more intelligently... I walk with the clothes for at least 5 minutes before buying them, look in several mirrors, make sure that the item of clothing is a favorite, etc. When the pieces are in my color palette, I see such a difference in my skin tone and my eyes really pop!
Embrace what inspires you for your own style and make clothing choices that reflect who you are! You will come out with your head held high with confidence!
